DiLisio is Mark Jeffries, a Pittsburgh-based singer/songwriter whose music spans diverse sonic categories, blending garage-rock with elements of blues, pop & r&b. The prevalant rawness and grit of his sound accentuates the vulnerability, heart-aching honesty and introspection of his lyrical themes, highlighting narrative storylines to create compelling and emotionally revelatory music.

Jeffries first learned to play the guitar seventeen years ago, yet has only been writing music for the past eight, after spending his young adulthood idolizing The Black Keys and anything Jack White puts his hands on. Jeffries infuses his own musical sincerity in his blues-rock tracks like Third Kid and Making It Clear, as well as folk/acoustic numbers Erie Song and Homebody.

DiLisio's career to date can be separated into two phases, the first characterized by his debut 8-song LP "She Will Like the Science". Kicking off a collab with drummer Garrett Grube, the album galvanized his unique sound and led into the second phase, spanning the release of "the Nine trilogy". Of DiLisio's discography, recent singles Flower Bed and Ignatius have garnered the most critical acclaim, with Flower Bed leading to DiLisio's feature as Pittsburgh station WYEP's Local Artist of the Week in Aug '20. And with his upcoming single/music video Pain, DiLisio is putting out his brand of earworm rock 'n roll on the reg.
